Meerkats!

Meerkat! Just been watching Natural World: Ella – a Meerkat’s story. Great show, all because meerkat’s are just freakin’ cool. Look at that one on the right, all standing up and everything. In fact, the show was a lot like that “look at that meerkat, all meerkat and everything. Oh oh and that one running!”.

Well I couldn’t find a BBC page just for ella, so here’s a fact page about Meerkats instead.

The Meerkats must have been cool – they stopped me playing MarioKart. Not sure we needed to see the demise of poor Charlie though…..

TOSH is the only word for this travestyof a programmeabout these wonderful little creatures whichwas aired as meerkat manor on animal planet.’Ella’ or Mozart and Tosca as THEY were known are two seperate beings, Mozart losing an unnamed pup and Tosca being evicted for being leader of the splinter group. Whilst no mention was made of Zafod or Shakespear I was pleased to see that the research team were mentioned although the narration was flat and lifeless compared to Bill Nighy and his inflections. To sum up disappointing and depressing- thank god for meerkat manor.

So, how many cheesey fingers does a Meerkat have ? – I’m not sure this program told us !

But apparently, if a New York Pizza & 8 cheesey bread fingers costs £9.99, we should be able to tell – at least according to Pizza Hut !

Hi Kevin and Laura, I tried to reply yesterday but site was down. If this,no, when this series comes on terrestrial t.v. it is well worth devoting 1/2 hour a week ( or whatever) to these programmes.Yes Laura ‘Ella’ is not only Mozart but her sister Tosca as well. Mozart lost the unnamed pup but Tosca was evicted for gross insubordination ( she had the other collar on). There is a site called digital spy for m.m. but they are fussy and will not take lycos addresses (nor reply to e.mails, very bad manners).
Nick, get a life, that’s what a certain company should do. Time to go home(works computer, very new so please excuse mistakes) Best wishes E.T.

This is a great “REALITY” show,..nice refreshing show about a clan of animals that have very similair roles that humans families have.

Much better than these fake reality tv show where humiliation of peopl e is the actual entertainment, i pity people who are entertained by witnessing the failures of others, pathetic.

Meerkat Manner is a show that is more “cute” than enlightening.

    Go Shakespear!!!!
